ABOUT

Jackie Ortiz (she/they) is a creative, storyteller, and community advocate who cares a lot about building inclusive, equitable spaces and helping people feel seen, heard, and supported.

I’m based in Pasadena, California and work as a freelance marketing consultant and creative producer. I help brands, organizations, and creative teams tell better stories, show up authentically online, and connect with the people they’re trying to reach.

My work lives at the intersection of storytelling, strategy, and community. For the past decade, I’ve worked across tech, healthcare, arts, media, and small businesses building brand presence, leading marketing campaigns, producing content, and developing creative ideas that resonate and make people feel. A lot of my work is about translating ideas into stories people can understand and care about.

Outside of work, I’m usually searching for the perfect cup of boba, traveling in my DIY campervan, or making food and travel videos. You can learn more about my food writing and travel adventures here.
